About the book
Where to buy
The second, revised and expanded edition takes into account the testimonies and reflections of survivors.
This publication is an important historical document that describes the absurd world of the so-called “Jewish settlement,” which was, in fact, the Theresienstadt concentration and transit camp (1941–1945), from which prisoners were deported to extermination camps.
The theme “Freedom in Captivity and Captivity in Freedom” will be the main focus of Elena Makarova’s author’s talk in Toronto,
on October 23, at 7:00 PM.
